...I'd like to reiterate what I mentioned on the phone. We all had a fantastic time on our full day package. All of our group were impressed by the organisation, professionalism and fun aspect of both the paintballing and quad trek. I couldn't fault any of the staff, facilities or equipment at all, so in summary, the whole day represented really good value for money and I'd be happy to return in the future. Also, providing the photos at the end of the day was a nice touch. I can imagine that some companies may try to charge for things like that! I was already impressed with the great service received via email and phone, when researching venues and booking. However the welcome and service we received yesterday surpassed all our expectations. ...I just wanted to send you a quick thank you for looking after us on Saturday. In particular I didn't get to thank Jody (I hope I spelt the name correctly. I do apologise if I didn't). You probably won't remember as you see so many people, which is understandable. I just felt it was important to pass on my gratitude. My lovely sister wanted to go quad biking for her birthday. It was really important not to take that away from her. I was just sorry that I was holding people back as I wasn't able to focus too well and was finding I had to concentrate really hard. ...A Big Thank you to all of you at WPL for the morning's paintball on Saturday - and in particular to Jody for bearing with us being such a small group. My son (whose birthday it was in aid of) had a fantastic time and is now a paintball convert. As I mentioned to Jody when we left, it was a shame that in his eagerness to maraud, he got taken out very early in game 2 so went into game 3 with about 93 balls (as we'd bought him 50 extra!) only then to get hit again within 5 minutes!! But that's the nature of the game and he soon got over his grumpiness at being "out" so early, and as I mentioned, has started a campaign to convince me that paintballing should be a frequent feature in his life!!!

...Please could I take this opportunity to thankyou for the time that you spent with my son and daughter on Sunday the 25th Jan. It was Zech's birthday and the knowledge and expertise that was demonstrated was second to none. Both children had an amazing time and are still talking and laughing about it now. When we arrived it was evident that you all were very customer focussed and safety was paramount to you all. You discussed the do's and dont's but all the while ensuring that there was going to be lots of fun throughout the trek. I remained on site and did not feel at all nervous or worried about how the children would be cared for, you definitely are professional and fun. ...I just wanted to send you an email thanking you for all your hard work on Saturday for Gemma's hen do.
Everybody had an absolutely amazing time and your patience, excellent supervision and putting up with 14 rowdy hens was much appreciated. The quad biking went down a treat and I think everyone will be trying it again (even those who weren't too keen at the beginning!!!). ...I am just writing to say a massive Thank you for your hospitality today, Danni and I had an amazing time and we will definitely be back with our colleagues and students. We were very impressed with the venue, the meeting room (big windows!!!!) and the setting of both activities.

We will be putting a trip plan together and hopefully will be able to bring the students for paintballing in September to create team cohesion and then back in June to do the quad biking to complete the year and celebrate their academic achievements.

Please pass on a BIG THANK YOU to Jenny and Richard who made us feel very welcome and gave us the opportunity to have a go on the quad bikes.

...."Hi, My name is Nigel Henshaw and I was Paint Balling at Wild Park on Sat. 30th July 05. with the same group that have been coming for "years". As always we had an absolutely fantastic time, especially the manic "fire-fight" in the final Tower game. During the afternoon my sister, Karen Morrow, and I were talking to Jenny about how long we had actually been coming Paint-balling, and worked out that it must be about 14-15 years, may-be a little longer !!

Jenny mentioned that you were trying to find people that had been coming from when you first started, and were still coming, well I think we qualify for that. The first time we came to Wild Park as a group we got changed in the old barn next to the Farmhouse, and while we were getting changed it rained so heavily the farmyard flooded, you asked if we still wanted to play in such heavy rain, we did, and had an amazing time, the brook was more like a river.

The names of the people from that first group who are still coming are :- Collin Morrow, Karen Morrow, Dave Borrington and myself Nigel Henshaw.

Like I said, as far as we can work it out it must be about 14-15 years ago but we can not be sure. We try to come as often as we can but that is never as often as we would like.

One final comment, and probably the most important, in all 14-15 years that we have been coming, or however long it actually is, we have never had anything but absolutely fantastic days at Wild-Park, from that very first, very wet time, up until Saturday. The only difference is that today I can hardly walk, I am definately not as fit as i used to be !!!!!!

...."Six in our group three lads, three adults, there for a birthday treat all had fantastic day. Although I was a bit apprehensive about trying paint balling out because being an ex bodyguard in the army, thought it may be a little childish for me, not at all, I was totally amazed!.

It was fun, energetic, exciting,and even brought back some good memories of team work. I would recommend any ex soldier who may have same thoughts >> as i did to give it a try, (it's a lot better than an exercise with a BFA, (blank firing attachment!).

Lastly I would like to say thanks once again on behalf of all our group, to all the staff including the refreshment team, on making it an extremely brilliant day, and would like to mention also the professional
aspect to safety, helpfulness, and enthusiasm that was carried out by each staff member throughout the entire day.

...."Hi, this is Amanda, one of the girls who came paintballing Sat 12th Feb. Just wanted to say a big THANKYOU to your whole team for an absolutely amazing day, the whole thing was such a brill experience, we all got such a buzz out of it, better than a sat night on the town! topped off nicely by the hunky field marshalls- not mentioning any names-Jacko (hmmm very nice!).

I must say i was a bit dubious about the whole thing, thought my friend was barmey for even thinking about paintballing, especially after listening to the rain pelting down at 3a.m that morning! but hey I'll try anything once. Had visions of running around for three hours non stop with a bunch of men who would only think of us women as getting in the way, but it wasn't like that at all, we all just got on with it as a team, everybody looks the same in those very fetching outfits anyway.

I can't praise you all enough, you seemed to think of everything, the food was lovely, tea was on tap, the induction talk (given by Jacko!) covered everything especially safety which you could understand how important it was once you saw one of the paintballs whizzing towards you. The games were all different, and in different parts of the woods giving it variety and a unpredictability, think the highlight of my day was the end game-suicide alley I think it was called, where there was only a few of us left on the field and I was helping this lad get the flag down to the opposite end of the field by distracting the yellows with gunfire, didn't half make the adrenaline pump, at one point Jacko was trying to give me some useful tips but I couldn't hear a thing with the rain pelting down, it all added to the excitement.

As you can see I'm still going on about it a week later, and it's imprinted in my memory as the best day out I've had in a long time. All I need to know now is if any of the marshalls offer a bruise rubbing better service??!!!"

Despite the weather the organisation was excellent and the enthusiasm of the staff was fantastic and added to our day. Unfortunately out of all 60 people there I was the first one shot in four out of 5 paintball games - what's that all about?? Too honest? too big? too stupid? - well at least it's given me a reason to come again, although I'm having to convince the lads I'm not a conscientious objector. A special highlight was the instructor (sorry - should know his name!) giving us instructions for the Karting with drips streaming off his nose whilst we stood dry in the shed! We found every aspect of the day from the induction to the departure to be spot on. The kit was A1, clean, comfy (no fogging !!!) and in tip top condition. The food was much appreciated.
